Probability of being 70 workers unemployed in Ardebil Iron Foundry

AZOH: Managing director of Ardebil Iron Foundry said: "Imposition of the most severe sanctions and exchange rate fluctuations in recent years has caused production in this manufacturing unit has not an economic justification due to shortage of raw materials. So that the revenues from production are not enough to pay current expenses of that factory and workers' rights."

According to SASM whereas the workers of Ardebil Iron Foundry announce of 350 workers' 3 months postpone payment of salaries and 8 months delay in their insurance premiums payment, the managing director of labour rights has declared he intends to fire more than 70 worker in the coming months due to rising financial costs of the factory.

Taghi Bahrami, the managing director of Ardebil Iron foundry stated: " In case of continuing the problems of this industrial unit in the months ahead, we have to expel 70 skilled worker of this factory, due to increasing financial difficulties and pressures that provincial officials have put on this unit."

According to director's statements if the problems will escalate, in addition to making 70 skilled labour forces leave the factory in the future months, there are the probability of closing production line and being more than 350 workers unemployed.
